Print-on-Demand: A Tool for Export? (French webinar)

Join us for a webinar offering key insights into Print-on-Demand (POD) as an export tool for Canadian publishers, hosted by advisor and researcher, Stéphane Labbé.

In combination with other strategies, print-on-demand can prove to be an effective tool for export development.  Indeed, POD can make an entire catalogue of titles available in foreign markets without having to make advance inventory investments.

Designed to provide concrete information for Canadian publishers who seek to better access international markets at lower costs, this webinar will:

  • Define and delimit what POD means
  • Outline reasons for using POD
  • Explain how POD works, including
    • The POD process from publisher to consumer
    • What has changed over the last 10 years
    • Costs
    • Possible partnerships
  • Describe the advantages of POD
  • Outline some of the challenges of POD
  • Discuss the future of POD
  • Provide advice on preparing to use or getting started with POD

This practical, hands-on webinar will provide publishers with the knowledge to help them increase global presence and sales using this unique export technology.

An English-language webinar on this topic is available on the English-language page.
